THE COLORS OF JOY
Nudo celebrates color as the universal language of emotion
When a single stone can hold a spectrum of feelings, you understand the magic of Nudo. Now in its 25th year, Pomellato’s most loved creation marks a quarter century with jewels that explore color in concert—gems moving together in balance to reflect every facet of a woman’s life. This is Nudo reimagined: not only “naked,” but unbound—made to be worn, stacked, and celebrated.
A Story of Joy Told in Gemstones
At the heart is the idea that beauty deepens in dialogue. The new Nudo Rivière necklaces in rose and white gold unite the purity of Nudo’s signature with the vividly bright Clessidra cut, gathering a vibrant cluster of stones at center. Geometric elements play together: London blue and sky blue topazes meet white diamond pavé circles in a gently asymmetric cadence. For comfort and motion, a mobile rose gold chain completes the back and adjusts for a tailored fit. Coordinated earrings echo the palette in a measured cascade of light and color.
A second parure pairs purple amethysts with crisp green peridots—each stone showcasing Nudo’s distinctive 57 irregular facets—appearing to float within white diamond pavé circles. The asymmetric layout of mixed sizes creates the impression of color drifting across the skin. Matching earrings carry the same ease—Milanese in spirit: considered, yet spontaneous.
In the new Nudo necklaces, a dialogue of four stone sizes—Maxi, Classic, Petit, and Mini—builds movement and a refined equilibrium of volumes. Their interplay brings a natural rhythm to the neckline while preserving Nudo’s unmistakable silhouette. The Clessidra cut adds dimensionality and enhances the gem’s play of light while keeping Nudo’s essential design; with its two faces, the gem sits close to the skin, creating a quiet, intimate connection between jewel and wearer.
The Poetry of Prasiolite and Green Agate
A study in green light: Nudo introduces a prasiolite and green agate doublet in rose and white gold across pendant, ring, and earrings. Translucent, moss toned prasiolite layered over deep green agate creates a nuanced third hue, enlivened by discreet white diamond pavé. These doublets—uniting a translucent gem with a hardstone—uncover depths of color that a single gem cannot achieve. Rounded shanks and hoop profiles host flush pavé accents, bringing refined scintillation to stacks or single wear.
Nudo Toi et Moi : Character in Conversation
The Nudo Toi et Moi ring in rose and white gold balances color and light: a vibrant amethyst in Classic size pairs with Nudo’s iconic silhouette in white diamond pavé in Petit size. The interplay of scale and surface gives the ring a clear graphic identity—confident alone, harmonious in a stack. Matching earrings echo the same dialogue between gemstone and diamond set form, perfect for mixing with the existing Toi et Moi palette.
True to Pomellato’s Free Gems philosophy, this Nudo milestone champions stones for their character as much as their beauty. Each gem retains its voice while joining a larger composition of color and connection. Crafted by Casa Pomellato’s master artisans, color is tuned like a melody—nuances calibrated to glow on the skin—so every hue feels alive and unmistakably Nudo.
