For high glamour and an even more sparkling list of celebrity fans, you’d be hard pressed to beat Chopard.
Founded in 1860 by Swiss watchmaker Louis-Ulysse Chopard, the brand has grown to include luxury items such as leather, eyewear and fragrances. Having been the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 1998, Chopard provides the ultimate in red carpet glitz.
Now, in celebration of our own recent Chopard partnership at the Mdina Grand Prix, we take a look of some of the most famous faces who have chosen to wear Chopard.
Diamonds may be a girl’s friend, but Marion Cotillard added a new twist to this old adage by wearing a single Chopard earring to this year’s MET Gala. Not only did this make her already-modern outfit look positively avant-garde, it also showed how beautifully Chopard is able to translate its illustrious history into new looks.

Chopard has always been known for making a splash at Cannes, and 2013 was no different as Cara wore diamond chandelier earrings from the Chopard Red Carpet Collection 2013. We think her flower shaped ring added a particularly playful touch to this high glamour outfit. Do you agree?

Known for her Old Hollywood glamorous look, actress Jennifer Lawrence wowed everyone at the 2013 Oscars with vintage style 12-carat diamond earrings and a more modern, delicate necklace made of 150 diamond beads.
Both beautiful pieces were by Chopard. Not only did Jennifer’s look prove that mixing old styles with new can work, but it also showed that there is more than one way to wear something, as she chose to drape the stunning necklace down her back instead of her front.

Proving that one can always make a statement with jewellery whatever the occasion, actress Lea Seydoux paired her stunning emerald and diamond Chopard earrings with a plain, black, demure dress that let her jewellery do all the talking. Not only did the emeralds stand out more against this black backdrop, but it has to be noted that the emeralds look particularly beautiful against her golden and Mediterranean skin tones.

Finally, veteran actress and long-time Chopard lover Cate Blanchett sparkled in sapphires from this year’s Red Carpet Collection in Cannes.
Not only did her sapphire chandelier earrings complement her outfit beautifully, but their cold fire perfectly extenuated her pastel skin and proved that pale can, in fact, be interesting.
